Open-source Licences

PixSplit is built on open-source software. We are grateful to the people who maintain it. These are the libraries that run in your browser, with their licences.

libheif (LGPL-3.0)

To convert HEIC photos in browsers that cannot read them natively, the site loads libheif-js, a WebAssembly build of libheif, licensed under theGNU Lesser General Public License v3.0. It is used unmodified and is loaded as a separate file (libheif-bundle-*.js) only when needed. You are entitled to the library's source code, which is available from the libheif-js repository and the libheif repository. The source code of this website is built with the unmodified package from npm, so you can rebuild the site with a modified version of the library by replacing the libheif-js dependency and running the build.
